Any thoughts?
I agree with CE 100%. Ransom even points out that it seems like the Un-Man is an inside out creature, with all its cunning and machinations hiding a hollow center. It is a creature driven only by the desire to perform cruel actions because it wants to watch you suffer.
ReplyDeleteI mostly agree with the others, except CG, but that's because I've never seen series Asterix the Gaul is from.
A French comic series, quite widely translated (the English translator for years died recently; given the type of humour in the series, this was an interesting job to take on).
DeleteAnyway, it is about a village of rowdy Gaulish warriors resisting Julius Caesar with a potion that gives them super-strength. Largely comic, but certainly Chaotic - and with enough references to the realities of the Ancient World to make it interesting.
My supplementary LN, who had occurred to me, but got lost en route to the blog, would be Barquentine from Gormenghast.
